.Wav File Delivery
Mixing
Include any/all of the following:
Mix notes
Rough Mix
Reference Mixes
If the final file is in ProTools format let us know as there will be additional requirements to discuss.
Sending. WAV files
Consolidate and group similar files in a labeled folder. Example: All drums (kick, snare, hi-hat, shaker, etc) would go into one folder labeled Drums. The same applies to Synths, Bass Instruments, Guitars etc. EFX Tracks (such as white noise, whooshes) etc. should be in their own folder labeled EFX. Print any reverbs as separate tracks and put them in a separate folder. Please make sure all files are clearly labeled before sending.
Files should be 24 or 32 bit floating point and 44.1 K or 48K sample rate depending on the original. If sample rate is higher (example 88.2 or 96K) please let us know.
When exporting .WAV files confirm that normalize is off and individual files are not peaking at zero (highlight all tracks and gain them down together).
Specify what passes you will want printed aside from the main pass (Example: TV track, Instrumental, a cappella, clean, TV clean etc.)
When requesting clean versions: Include a lyric sheet highlighting the words that need editing.
TV/Show tracks will be printed with only the lead vocal muted unless instructed otherwise.
If you need mix stems please indicate that when you deliver the files. We will print up to 10 stems when requested within 30 days of approved work. Additional stems can be added and the fee will be determined based on the scope of work.
